Where Google started with the slogan "don't be evil", Palantir chose something more sustainable.
Good one. That said, I have reasons to believe they are not even going to be able to deliver that evil at scale. You can tell by the bravado their CEO keeps exhibiting. Classic hold my beer. Seems like an American thing right now to out do the beer holding.
Ah, but they have the venerable talents of Louis "Blackshirt" Mosley running their UK operations. I think they're gonna be ok.
I had such high hopes when Labour won the election, and then that idiot Starmer just keeps on doing idiotic things.
I had mid hopes, was willing to settle for not shit/evil.
They failed
Starmer probably has more dirt on him than Jimmy Seville and they are using that to keep him in line.
I doubt it. I think this is a case of someone very good at a job then getting promoted above their competence, and now leaning on terrible advisers
You can't trust Palantir with any agreements, safeguards, or supposedly deidentified or anonymized data. They will use the data anyway, undisclosed. Immoral data is their business. Data association and connection is their business. And they have the scope, prevalence, and collected data for it.
