Mods may use discretion to pre-approve videos or press releases from highly credible sources that provide unique, newsworthy content not available or possible in another format.
7. No duplicate posts.
If an article has already been posted, it will be removed. Different articles reporting on the same subject are permitted. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners or news aggregators.
All posts must link to original article sources. You may include archival links in the post description. News aggregators such as Yahoo, Google, Hacker News, etc. should be avoided in favor of the original source link. Newswire services such as AP, Reuters, or AFP, are frequently republished and may be shared from other credible sources.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

Doesnt matter to a large bloc of voting people becauae of another war with thousands injured happening in a different country, and the opponent had a weird, snorty laugh and spoke in a high pitch when excited.
The first amendment is just (on) a piece of paper. Will it be enforced against a constitution breaking executive? That is the question.
I'm sure they'll send a strongly worded letter.

A judge last week struck down the Pentagon’s restrictions on journalists seeking “unauthorized” information, siding with the New York Times in its lawsuit against the government. In response, the Pentagon on Monday added some meaningless window dressing and essentially reissued the same restrictions. The administration pledged to “immediately” appeal the decision on the original policy, and on Tuesday, the Times filed a motion to compel the administration to comply with the judge’s order.

The United States has the largest known prison population in the world. The country comprises 5% of the world's population while having 20% of the world's incarcerated persons. For comparison, China, with more than four times more inhabitants, has fewer persons in prison.[4][5]

The fact that we are unsure whether the highest court in the land will defend the constitution from these fragrantly illegal policies, is insane.

Not really related to this article but I absolutely despise the penchant for the right to refuse to allow journalists they don't like to attend press conferences.
The snowflakes were the fascists we made along the way.

Doesn’t matter, we don’t have a true fourth estate.
First amendment authorizes all questions.
So they don't want their lies exposed, and they don't want their own constituents to know the actual truth. They are scared that their absolute stupidity will be broadcast for all to see. Every Last American should be embarrassed and ashamed!!
This isn't how mainstream media works. Not just any reporter can get in the White House press briefing and ask questions. They've been filtered long before they got there. This isn't new to the Trump regime.
