Reading a bool would seem pretty boring. There’s only two possible storylines.

[–] lime@feddit.nu 31 points 6 days ago

i think it says booᚴ

[–] flamingo_pinyata@sopuli.xyz 11 points 6 days ago (2 children)

More if you include real booleans: true, false, file_not_found

The real wtf is finding this on Lemmy 2 decades later

[–] flamingo_pinyata@sopuli.xyz 3 points 5 days ago

Some of us were forged in the depths of the old internet

[–] SorryQuick@lemmy.ca 3 points 5 days ago

Even more with C bools: false(0) true(1) slightly more true(2) even more true(3) dangerously true(-1).

I’m sure they could make a decent enough bool to read.

[–] LifeInMultipleChoice@lemmy.world 13 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Yeah why do those pages stay flopped up like that. If they don't lay flat I get distracted

[–] swab148@lemmy.dbzer0.com 6 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Brand new books, man. That's why I only buy used.

[–] SlurpingPus@lemmy.world 1 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago)

New books are simply a bit stiff, and the pages stay in the semi-closed configuration initially. You just need to stretch it a bit by bending the book back and forth when open on the desired page, and banging on the middle to make it conform to the new shape.

Impressive. I've never been able to read a book with my eyes closed.

I think those are the glasses.
