No need to downvote OP for simply linking a trailer for a television show in the television community, no matter how much the source material is hated.

It does look... not great though. Casting a black actor as Snape is iffy when you consider how much Harry's dad tormented him in the book.

I know it's just a trailer but it feels so... Bland. I don't think we saw a single bit of magic? Who the hell made this trailer and left out any magic at all?

I am so excited! And man does this show have an uphill climb!

That cast in the movies was perfect.. hard shoes to fill.

The book series struck a cord with an entire generation the world over, and expectations will be through the roof! If this doesn't register S4 and S5 of GOT level of viewers it will be branded a failure.

Every asshole with a keyboard will shriek in horror at anything thing they can interpret as wokeness.

Finally JK Rowlings has proven to be a total sack of shit and burned so much goodwill the story has.

Reviews are not good. Will be interesting to see how the ratings turn out. Are there still Potter fans at this point? Are there enough of them for HBO’s new management to continue to throw money at this property?
