Does the one year warranty cover a cracked back? No apple care — purchased from Verizon by Amex card with extended warranty. (alien.top)

The phone has been in a casetify cover and I take excellent care of it. It did fall a couple of times but nothing drastic, yet all of a sudden I found the back cracked.

I doubt that Apple will cover that since they don’t cover their own failures.

Should I try with the credit card company as part of extended warranty?
