No, Magic Keyboard needs more Mana.

Can’t be British too.

[–] EEINAR30@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

You need to have liquid cooling + 3 hydro Tech 57G fans inside directly linked to the CPU and GPU or it will simply blow up… you really

[–] AdStill1707@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Why is your retina display liquid and not gaseous? Return this shit!

ispe candy crush chalega?

[–] krunal_1245@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I’m gonna get downvoted. But I must say go for windows if you’re looking for a budget machine to edit videos in 4k. You’ll get a i9 processor laptop with rtx 4070. i9 is 24 cores cpu which is compared directly to m2 ultra. Because m1 ultra also has 24 cpu. Plus rtx 4070 is 10x faster than apple’s 16 core gpu. Because rtx 4070 is 140-150 core gpu. So you can clearly see the difference. It’s your choice ahead.

64GB RAM? God help you if you install chrome. Stop being a cheapskate. get the right machine for the right job.

[–] angusplays1@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

64GB ram are you insane 96 is a struggle with 4K this would maybe handle 1440 but I’d stick to 1080

[–] dwhite21787@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

$4k editing? You got fleeced, should be closer to $3k

[–] enfurno@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

This is gonna look great next to your iPhone 3 and your iPod mini.... Good luck.

[–] Sixstringerman@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Only 64gb? My ipad has more storage

[–] Phoenix_Cluster@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

You should get a 15 inch CRT display model... Colours pop more and blacks are better mate.

[–] Fun_Description6544@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

This is bullshit. Just get the Macbook Pro from 2016 with a decent i5 processor. The 5 in i5 is higher than the 3 in M3. Thus, the i5 is miles better. The i5 also has a beautiful i in the beginning, just like iPhone, iMac, iPod and Ireland. What does that silly M stand for? Microsoft? Additional benefit of the i5: You don’t have to heat your house anymore.

If you're planning to edit 4K footage on a MacBook, you should be prepared to spend at least $4K. Apple's pricing is directly related to the level of resolution you want to work with. So, make sure your budget aligns with your editing needs.

[–] BigChinaski@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

No way dog, with that little RAM? Good luck scrolling Premier timelines, and surfing the web? Please, if you are too poor to buy the ‘premium’ edition, just go home.

[–] FullSqueeze@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

You forgot the screen. Who’s gonna edit 4K on a puny screen that’s not even 4K. Gotta add that Pro XDR 32”.

On a serious note; you should get the 8TB since internal storage is so fast and particularly useful if you’re doing a 4K edit from 8k footage.

[–] Webfarer@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

It only has a 1080p camera

[–] monkeystretch9@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

You need the i9 intel mac for this. Its integrated GPU is miles ahead of M3's. Especially the very thin one with touchbar. This one is too thick and M3 is basically an iPhone chip. The fans don't even turn on

[–] Ok_Sample2992@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Nahh the 8 gb ram intel macs would be a better option

[–] singhalrishi27@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

96watt charger how dare you to even think about atleast need 9600Watt for that load it cant even handle 144p editing

[–] cantthinkof-a-name@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

You’re only editing 4k? The iPhone 4 should be plenty

[–] nehultyagi1@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

96W charger?! Are you kidding me? It's way too slow. You need a 69W charger for lightning-fast charging.

[–] jjboy91@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

8tb is required for 4k editing

[–] WannabeFreeStater@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Yes, but only because it's Space Black.

[–] boongipoongi@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

i want a real answer tho is this good

[–] HandbookLab@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Do you want the real real answer, or the fake real answer? Because if it’s either, I can’t help you.

[–] xarumitzu@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

96w is barely gonna keep that thing running. I’d pick up a 4000w charger minimum. 2,073 pixels per watt.

[–] Own-Pay3664@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Good enough yeah.... Professional editing? Ryzen is still king.

[–] fabioirl@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

NOOOOOO, only MacBook Air 12" will be able to handle it. That intel processor is insane.

[–] Jarie743@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

How much does that tank cost?

[–] HandbookLab@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

£100 on the space black market.

[–] XC-XERZ@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

When am I going to get my 1TB Ram, 100TB SSD, 1000Core cpu.?

[–] pepegadudeMX5@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I feel bad for people who spend 3k+ on Apple products. Other than the iPhone I don’t get any of their stuff. I can get a windows laptop with better specs for 1400. Or build your own PC for 3k and juice it the fuck out.

[–] srona22@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

And what does it cost you, without installment plan and company won't give you one?
