Looking to buying a MacBook (currently a M1 Mac Mini user and want to transition) and am going to likely select between these two. I do love the black, but I can get a refurb M2 Pro for like 500 cheaper than the M3 pro. Is the m3 pro chip worth the extra 500?

Just get m2 pro , only the base m3 and max are worth getting

Have you considered M3 16GB 512GB? It feels lighter and more balanced in the hand because it doesn't have the extra heat pipe and fan at the rear. The gray is very similar to black and on the gray the keyboard is darker.
