I would say that's NK government should feel angry about how their people are being treated by Russia. But the NK government doesn't give a shit about them either.

I guess these workers are luckier than the NK soldiers being sent to the Ukraine war front to be ~~cannon~~ drone fodder.

So Russia is trying to make them feel at home?

[–] Cellari@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago

I think Russia fears the NK would be trying to steal some water to bring to their family

If you think you are having a bad time; there is always someone having a bader time.

No, but, tankies tell me modern Russia is a utopia for some reason.

I don't think so. They support anti-western international policy but I think the consensus is that it's a reactionary capitalist hellhole and Putin is a POS

For example this Hexbear thread where even one of the Hexbear moderators says "I would very much like to see [Putin] shot in the face."

Can you show me anyone who thinks that?

I've never been to Russia, but none of the Russians I've met thought that.

Maybe the ones who think that stay in Russia, but I feel like you just made up a person in your head.

Are you implying that Russia is a bad place Comrade?

[–] Alcoholicorn@mander.xyz 1 points 1 week ago

No, I'm openly stating the place ruled by the oligarchs who benefited from destroying the USSR and selling the copper from the walls is a bad place.

But I don't think they restrict North Koreans to having no more than 1 shower per year.

How good must that shower feel? After a year of fighting in all-season mud and debris. Seems a valuable psyop for Ukraine would be to target the showers. Keep them miserable.
