I often talk to older people at work. People who are just retired or older. A lot of them complain to me about the same thing: can you believe that young people just stop working when their shift is over? They just drop everything and leave. Some work/life balance thing.
As the saying goes "I was once young and poor but after many decades of hard work I am no longer young"
Play office politics, make the boss look good, be loyal.
Have a few friends who had to burn out to learn the company will never care
