Try the stacked chips from Aldi or Lidl. Much better.

They've definitely cut back on flavor this past year. Not just on pizza flavor. I stopped buying any of them because they're not worth it any more. Bunch of extra calories for no taste? They can fuck off and die.

They used to be so seasoned I couldn't finish a short can

[–] SlizedOnion@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

According to the FDA, the agency "determined that the facility was operating under insanitary conditions, including the presence of rodent excreta, rodent urine, and bird droppings in areas where medical devices, drugs, human food, pet food, and cosmetic products were held."

Enjoy crunching on those Pringles!

And there's an acceptable amount of roaches that can be in peanut products, what's your point?

[–] Skankhunt420@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 week ago

For sure and maggots in pasta sauce and all kinds of other fun stuff. You can't take stuff like that out completely in mass produced food.

Although, that was pretty bad for them to have issued a recall the FDA usually isn't too strict so it was probably pretty bad.

But I was just making a joke because you were like "damn why don't these taste the same" and its like, boom rat shit. I know it wasn't in the chips but it was just funny to me.

Don't eat this filth.

Are we pretending that Pringles had flavour?

[–] InvalidName2@lemmy.zip 0 points 1 week ago

I can't remember the last time I've had Pringles brand potato chips as we call them in the good ole USofA. I think in other countries they're called CRISPRs or Jollysnots or something?

Can't say I've had the pizza flavor. A few weeks ago I nearly gave into temptation as I was going down THAT isle in the grocery store and I saw some new to me flavors along the lines of loaded baked potato and loaded nachos. Sounded great in theory, and I was probably very hungry at the time, but I passed knowing they almost certainly taste ... lame at best.

There was a time in my life when I liked some of the basic flavors like BBQ, but I feel like the shittification (which is different from enshittification) happened a long time ago, perhaps even before you were born.

I'm going to assume the vast majority of the comments are going be along the lines of "they've always been shitty". How old were you when you thought they were good?

[–] Raiderkev@lemmy.world 0 points 1 week ago

Imo they were never any good. You might just be an adult now.

The taste of salt and food additives never was that great.
