Who would have thought a game played primarily by kids would have a movie made about it with kids as their demographic?
And I am saying this as an adult fervent Minecraft player.

nah. I'm very much a 'real' fan and the movie was great. it certainly wasn't technically accurate, but if you relax and take the movie for what it is; you'll have a fun time :)

Why would we do that to ourselves? I'd be willing to bet the proportion of people who watched the film who also regularly played the game at some point is less than 50%
