Ive got a work iPad. There are ads in the calculator (plus a paid upgrade for like the smart pencil scribble math upgrade. Imagine paying $700 AUD for the cheapest iPad here in AUS, for a subscription fee for the calculator)

I use Naver maps because I'm in Korea and they've kept out the competition until now. They already introduced ads some time back. It's infuriating.

Mapy.com too :( They locked previously-free features behind a paywall. The 1.5 years old Android app version 9.55.2 still works though
