If the findings don't change the vote, charge the sheriff personally with the cost of the recount.

Cost doesn't mean anything. It's just a play and another attempt to rile up the base.
I feel like this is the epitome of what is wrong with the modern world. Bad faith actors have learned how to exploit civility and eradicate truth.
- Find something you don't like and shriek, confidently, and without any evidence, that it is corrupt/bad/evil.
- Demand that a blatantly biased "authority" gets access to evidence so that they can "ensure" that is isn't corrupt/bad/evil.
- If you are denied, shriek some more and claim it's because they are hiding the truth and that it's obviously corrupt/bad/evil.
- If you aren't denied, have the "authority" verifying things lie and say that they discovered it's corrupt/bad/evil.
- If an independent authority authenticates that it isn't corrupt/bad/evil, call that authority corrupt/bad/evil and continue shrieking at the top of your lungs.
- Use either outcome as an excuse to take over and make things the way you want them to be without actual consensus.
- Whine and complain that you are a victimized minority and repeat.
Has there been some level of chain of custody oversight? What it he fucks with the ballots?
How is it legal for a candidate in the race to "seize" ballots? This should be disqualifying. It's literally election tampering.
