Grabbed this server for AU$400 (~US$250) with the following specs:

  • 4U Supermicro pedestal case with redundant 1280W PSUs and 8 x 3.5" hot swapable disk sleds (no drives)
  • Intel Xeon Bronze 3106 Processor 8-core 1.70GHz 11.00MB cache CPU
  • Supermicro MB-X11SPL-F motherboard
  • 4 x Samsung M393A2K40CB2-CVF 16GB DDR4 2933MHz ECC RDIMM (total 64GB)
  • Broadcom MegaRAID 9361-8i SAS 8-port 12GB/s 2GB cache RAID card

Was this a good deal? It will be replacing my old Intel SC2600CP2 with a E5-2680v2. Have also bought a cheap Xeon Gold 6138 and another 2 sticks of ram. Hoping i have some rails that will fit it, too.

dunno but i bought a ford ranger 4x4 6 cyl in running condition for that

For being what it is id say its okay, its not an amazing deal but not expensive either.
