They're pretty, up close and in person. Living in a country where they're worshiped by the least sincere people who have ever lived really makes them feel less cool.

Random fact for anyone who doesn't know: the stereotypical screech when a bald eagle is shown in media is actually from a red-tailed hawk. Bald eagles actually just sound kind of like seagulls.
