There are some nuances to this absurdity.

Oh man this is exactly why I'm holding out for the full release.

I have fun with this game every day. In order to see this nerfs you have to open steam, go to properties and select beta branch. Most of the people don't do that. Then you can play the game and they get the stats like 15% of people picked prepared card, and of those 80% failed run. And then a week later only 3% of people pocked prepared, so they change again.

I think you should read the article because the negative reviews are mostly chinese users who can't live comments and reviews on steam, and also can't use discord which is the other way of leaving feedback.

Slay the spire 1 was a really well build and polished game and this is on track to become one too, but most of the players from the previous game see that there is a lot of space for rebalancing because some cards offer an easy way to go infinite and eliminate the need to pick something else which makes the game boring.

For me it's less about people's outrage & more about having all the elements nailed down so things don't get changed while I am playing through the game. I would like the cards & sytems to be as static as possible, that's all.

That makes sense. I have played a lot of games where patches change the game a lot so i'm used to it, but i have been dissapointed in the past for the similar reasons.

It's prepared and the change fucking sucks. I don't even play silent very often, I dont know if I even have prepared unlocked, but just looking at the change it sucks big donkey dicks. Like it's a completely different way worse card now.

Damn

Gonna be real I've won only once with Silent.

She's my favorite character to play since STS1 but damn the enemies are already difficult enough, I feel that nerfing Prepared might not be the right choice here even though it's incredible for Sly builds

Gotta love crybabies that review bomb something just because a beta update that is most likely subject to change changes something good. Those people, outside of China*, doing this need to get their 3 ton asses outside and touch grass.

  • I give them some level of leniency because no legal access to the StS2 discord server without VPN. But I still think they should use the in game feedback thing despite the language barrier.

I mean it just makes prepared a hard skip when offered. Shivs still go brrrrrr.

Every single one of those review bomber are actual babys. Slay the spire isn't that good.
