I managed to find an ethernet PC Card with DOS drivers. 56k would be too painful, even for a retro PC enthusiast like me. :D
Man I must have suppressed the fact that those laptops had a fucking floppy reader.ย
Some models even had a CD drive! But the machine cannot boot from it. ๐ซ You were supposed to attach a floppy drive with a special cable (which I don't have). It's a bit frustrating. ๐
How's frogfind? The last few times I've tried on various old systems the search hasn't found anything.
Doesn't work for me either at the moment, I think archive.org has blocked them because the site generated too much traffic.
