“The Bachelorette” is on pause amid Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen’s toxic fallout. The ABC reality show, which was set to premiere on Sunday, March 22, has been pulled from the schedule. The network has not yet shared whether it will air at a later date.

“In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of ‘The Bachelorette’ at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family,” the statement from a Disney Entertainment Television spokesperson reads.

This is madness - these producers knew about this domestic violence incidence from the start. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives literally opens with Taylor being arrested for this on camera.

Wonder if its fake to drum up views or something. Seems like that kind of a stunt. Haven't watched in ages but im tempted too now. Ugh im being played.

It seems as if there was another domestic violence incident between Taylor and Dakota which has led Dakota to file for custody and a restraining order.

I don’t think it’s fake, I think Taylor is horribly abusive and doesn’t have a handle on her mental illness.

I haven’t finished the most recent season of Secret Lives, but I’d bet there’s some look at the whole lead up to the filming of the Bachelorette.

Sad to hear. I like to believe its all an act for sanity purposes. Hopefully there is redemption for everyone in the future.

I watched SLoMW and while it does show her getting arrested the actual video of the attack is waaaaaaay worse. They never indicated that the 5 year old daughter was hit by a flying metal stool that Taylor was throwing around.

Agreed, the video is way worse, but it shouldn't have taken the video being released to know that putting a woman who is convicted of aggravated assault against her partner on the Bachelorette is a bad idea.

Assault is a wide and diverse spectrum ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Domestic violence? Sounds like that's the real reality tv show. Just need to change the name of the show to Cops.
