They should have had teh dev say 'it is almost done, just need to work on the UI' and then get drafted to war where he gets domed by a 50 cal and then completes the project. Would have been more accurate that way.

Well, sort of "side-on", if it were "head-on", they'd copy the interface more closely. Which is what they need to do to get Photoshop users to switch.
I would think what they need to get people to switch would be non-destructive editing. didn't they promise that was coming like a decade or so ago?
