Meh.
If I had any input it would be an animated show with the characters continuing from when the old shows ended. Same actors doing the voices.

Headline made me think Sarah Michelle Gellar died, God I need more coffee.
That was the intent of the clickbaity headline.
The decision follows weeks of speculation about the fate of the pilot. Sources described it as “not perfect,” noting the Zhao’s sensibility may not have been the perfect match for the reboot. ...
There had been talk about reworking the pilot as recently as earlier this week. In the end, Hulu opted not to proceed with it but remains high on the Buffy IP and plans to regroup and mull a possible new incarnation of the beloved franchise.
So either it was bad or it was taking it in a direction they weren't confident fans would appreciate? I'd be curious for more details but i dunno if we'll get them.
I heard Sarah MG really liked the direction they were taking it in, so that's a shame for her.

You can use uBlock Origin filter lists to bypass paywalls. Bypass Paywalls Clean filter or/and Anti-paywall filters.
I misread the headline and thought there was going to be a new Buffy series where she was undead.
Now I'm just disappointed.
Edit: Looks like I'm not the only one.
I mean, that's what the last two seasons were about.
