Your rug is upsidedown, or is a manufacturing error.
It's a very cool room though.
The rug really ties the room together.
Maybe picture is mirrorred.
I considered that, but the algae wafers on the top left shelf said it's the rug.

Well sure, anything specific you're curious about? As far as the setup, I heat the room and just use sponge filters with one central air pump. I tried to make it as easy to maintain as possible so I can enjoy it and not see it like a chore.
If it's a lab, what sort of experiments are you running? What have you learned recently?
Seems to me you don't have nearly enough aquariums.
Impressive, how long does it take to maintain this many tanks per week?
It's not bad really, maybe two to four hours a week changing water, cleaning sponges and hatching foods, managing fry etc. I've tried to set it up to be as maintenance friendly as possible.
I’d love some posts on the inhabitants and stuff. :)

This looks gorgeous. I am planning doing something similar with aquariums, terrariums and paludariums. But I am a bit worried about the time needed to keep things clean and nice.
How do you do this? And how much time do you need per week for the aquariums in this room?
