Ever seen Gary Danielson commentate on an Alabama game?

[–] Ineedajobbrah@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

“Now here’s a guy…”

[–] tribsant23@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He's really not that bad

[–] i_heart_pasta@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He was better with Al Michaels, he kind of talks over Tirico.

[–] Bmore30@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Its so weird to hear him talk without Brady or Rodgers ____ in his mouth

[–] carguy131313@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I politely disagree…. IMO Eddie Cheever and Scott Goodyear ruined far too many Indy 500’s with their terrible commentary. And I know that’s extremely topical especially if you aren’t a fan of Motorsports but as someone who watched both and had to listen to Collingsworth stroke Favre and Rodger’s up and down the field year in and year out, trust me there are people far worse at their commentating job. 😉

“Boy, let me tell you somethingsmall chuckle here’s a guy in Cris Collinsworth who has been deepthroating Packers QBs since the beginning of time. And I’m not taking about your run of the mill deepthroating either. I’m talking balls on chin, gallons of spit, eyes rolling into the back of your head deepthroating”

[–] Further_Beyond@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (4 children)

Collinsworth is GREAT at play dissection and telling you what happened immediately.

But his thing has always been to shove whatever storyline he fancies down the throats of the world. We saw it forever with Rodgers. Does it with mahomes now. Saw his chance with a guy who has an awesome story.

No that does not make him a bad announcer

[–] Stoke-me-a-clipper@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Yeah he's ok at that but Romo kills it in the breakdowns and predictions without being able to hear Rodgers' sperm vibrating on his uvula

[–] -Pruples-@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

lmfao have you literally ever watched a game Collinsworth is commentating on? This literally couldn't possibly be further from the truth.

[–] mollusks75@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Yes that does make him a bad announcer. He talks so much about guys that aren’t even playing in the game he’s covering. It’s terrible.

[–] ObamaIsFat@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

No, no he's really really not

[–] Stoke-me-a-clipper@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Nah gotta disagree with you there, mate

[–] teeohdeedee123@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

They can't all be Ian Eagle

[–] doggoploggo@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

He's a great combination of being a lame broadcaster and a creep.

[–] Stoke-me-a-clipper@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (3 children)

"I like girls that aren't too bright because you can trick them a little bit. High school girls love me. Fourteen to eighteen, I'm a big star with them. As soon as they, you know, as soon as they mature, after about 18 years old, they start figuring out that, "wait a minute, I know there's better than that out there.""

#holy what the shit

[–] DangerSwan33@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

This doesn't surprise me, because he has always reminded me of Matthew McConaughey, specifically his character from Dazed and Confused.

[–] BroDudeBruhMan@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Was just gonna point that out, holy shit

[–] -Pruples-@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

yeah...that's.....that's....i can't. I literally can't even. Lock him up.

[–] alexamerling100@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Eh he's not that bad but he wasn't good last night lol

[–] Upbeat-Tie2037@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He's so bad. Terrible analysis, nails on a chalk board voice, and his favoritism is insane. Patrick Mahomes makes a mistake "Can you believe Pat is so smart that he intentionally threw the ball 10 feet in front of the WR because he knew the CB was going to intercept the ball... Amazing"

I watch all the games he calls on mute.

[–] Rock_man_bears_fan@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I was surprised by just how far Bagent had managed to lodge his cock down Collinsworth’s throat in his second start.

[–] chadwade123@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Who cares? Bagent is a fun story. What else is he supposed to talk about.

We’re in the middle of a likely 3-4 win season, if that. The coaching staff will be gone next year and so will a lot of the players.

We have exactly 1 cool thing going on this season, that’s Bagent and his underdog story. Something that we should be able to have some fun with. But for some reason this sub seems to hate it

[–] maxpowers05@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Thank god the ESPN broadcast worked out of Chicago so I did not have to listen to him.

[–] Fantastic_Cable_7938@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He’s always been shitty. Whenever he calls a Bears game he’s always the most condescending prick so unlikeable.

[–] vancity-boi-in-tdot@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

IDK, i will forever hold in high regard for his part in announcing "the catch".

Serious question, brother -- how many 14 year old girls would Chris Collingsworth have to rape in order for your opinion of him to change to a negative one?

[–] Ocelotofdamage@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Are you going to post this on every comment?

[–] Stoke-me-a-clipper@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Only on the ones it pertains to -- why does it bother you that it pertains equally to so many comments? Why should come up with dozens of innovative new ways to say the same thing when I'm responding to the same comment articulated by numerous different people?

Seems an arbitrarily irrelevant thing to be outraged about, especially considering the context...

[–] ffellini@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

In that video, he meant 14 year olds are fans of him. Just like 14 year olds are fans of Harry Styles. You interpreted it as him as raping them. You need to be careful what you spew on the internet.

[–] Nincompostor@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Collinsworth always needs a QB schlong in his throat, and always gets on his knees for the popular story at the moment. CC is hot garbage.

[–] Stoke-me-a-clipper@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

You're chafing my circlejerk, dude -- back of the line

[–] pdockenson@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I've noticed a direct correlation between your team losing and any sports commentator being absolute shit in that moment.

[–] Stoke-me-a-clipper@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

[–] mcmurph120@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Ugh, he’s the WORSTTTTT! And he’s always been a Bear Hater, too. Always.

[–] Fit_Attention_9269@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Joe Buck and Troy Aikman have entered the chat.

They're both so awful I mute MNF and shove cotton in my ears to be extra safe to not hear them.

[–] Stoke-me-a-clipper@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Fair, and I don't disagree but... Serious question, brother -- how many 14 year old girls would Chris Collingsworth have to rape in order for your opinion of him to change to a negative one?

[–] RexyPanterra@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He’s slightly better than his son.

[–] VANILLA_GORILLA22@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Agree he is horrendous. Always has been

[–] eamus_catuli@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I've never seen a fan base be actually dismayed at the fact that an announcer loved on a guy from their team.

WTF? The announcer liking a guy on your team makes you upset?

[–] -Pruples-@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

We need to start a fund to have Collinsworth banned from ever doing anything in front of a camera or microphone that has anything to do with the NFL ever again. I'd donate literally my entire net worth to the cause. How much would we have to pay the NFL to make it happen? Lets fuckin go.

[–] air-jordache@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I’ve always thought he was drunk. Probably because he’s always drunk.

[–] mikebob89@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Yeah fuck what Collinsworth said but also fuck clickbait articles that are basically just “these 7 Twitter users disagreed with this statement”

[–] IMKudaimi123@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I actually like him

yesterday was the same thing pace did that one year romo did our game against the ravens. Get an EIU fellow grad to prop up the roster and try to save his job. Eberflus and Getsy did that yesterday with collinsworth. Bagent was a means to an end.

[–] FromTheChi@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Lol, I read the article and heard Collingsworth talk about how Fields should study some things from Bagent…and I thought it was valid. This sub was slapping Fields last week, saying he was done, Bagent is the future. I love Fields but there is 100% some things to learn from Bagent like pulling the trigger on reads that are NFL-open
