Hot take time, all of the Ballon d'or discourse is insufferable. Imagine fanboying this hard for a 36 year old. I've wanted him to fuck off into the sunset since the WC but fucking news media can't farm enough clicks without mentioning him in every headline. Same applies to Ronaldo. They're fucking bygones.
