Left my iPhone flashlight on for an hour, Can this cause any damage? (alien.top)

As the title states i left my iPhone 14 flashlight on for an hour by accident because my hand accidentally turned it on from the lockscreen and without knowing and i came back after an hour or so and i saw it was on. The phone was a little warm but not anything crazy and my battery dropped a few percentages. Would this damage anything seeing as it was on for so long?

Short answer: no

Long answer: your phone will temporarily disable the flashlight before it has a chance of causing damage to your phone. I’ve only noticed my flashlight getting disabled when my phone gets decently hot from gaming.

I’ve gotten in the habit of using my phone as a makeshift nightlight and have fallen asleep with the flashlight on my X being on. You’re completely fine.
