idk I've had online glasses, the coatings suck and I had to replace them way more often, and the frames were meh. Fuck the luxottica owned places though, they mark up so much and are shit quality. You can get Zeiss lenses for like half the price of the shit lenscrafters sells.
Buying a nice frame isn't a bad idea if you stay away from the luxoticca or "designer" shit, especially if you have to wear them all day everyday.
