So I just heard of scrutiny and installed it in unraid, it is showing that one of my disks failed one of the sections. When I run the "short smart test" in unraid I get no errors. But I did notice that by default notifications were unchecked for this data point, when I changed that unraid immediately had a yellow pop up.

The drive is under warranty, I am not sure if this is something that would be covered under warranty since it hasn't failed yet.

Do a long smart test with the manufacturers tool. Seagate and Western Digital have tools you can run from a dos boot disk.

Edit: if that test comes back failed they will warranty it.
