Can only AirPlay audio not video (alien.top)

Ever since the recent updates to iOS and tvOS. I can only AirPlay sound and not the video from YouTube in safari. Does anyone have the same issue?

I’m also having this issue. It’s absolutely infuriating. Audio only with AirPlay, no video.

Same for me. I'm relieved to know that it's not just my issue.
So far, I've been using screen mirroring as a workaround. Hopefully, it will be fixed soon.

Yeah I’ve always used Safari with the Vinegar extension on my iPhone and it appears YouTube has ramped up its awareness and started sending a signal to Safari to block Airplay video, only audio is casting to the Apple TVs in our home.

I also have tvOS 17.1 and I am unable to stream video from YouTube on safari browser. Only audio. I’ve tried other videos from other websites on Safari and it streams both video and audio.
