Weird how fifa has banned russia for starting a war but are completely fine with USA and Israel when they did the same

[–] BassTurd@lemmy.world 26 points 3 weeks ago

Russia doesn't have a Fifa peace prize recipient running the country.

The USA is one of the host countries. Would likely have to find ways to schedule games in Canada or Mexico

More. More teams. More countries saying no. Please please please. Just have friendlies somewhere not in the US.

I hope the world cup gets canceled because not enough people are willing to go to the Untied States

ICE wouldn't let them leave the airport if they had travelled

I'm half expecting Trump to have a false flag at the world Cup or maybe that Whitehouse UFC event. Think he's reading the Hitler handbook or something.

at this point, whether white flag or real, an attack is almost guaranteed...

Best we can hope for is that soccer fans boycott this World Cup in a significant way to make all those Nazi organizers lose tons of money, they only thing they may care about.

Yeah, I don't think anything will come betwee football fans and the world cup. They're pretty fanatical.

I'm worried I'm going to see an attack on California live while I watch the oscars
