Living the dream - seriously. Cheap, comfy, reliable car that is fairly good on gas. Has bluetooth for music but doesn’t spy on me. Very convenient, secure antitheft system involving a metal key.

I'm looking for a new vehicle. The f150 surrendered, wanting something small this time so I can drive into the city and not spend a week's pay on gas.
i have a 2012 chevy volt with Opel badges. it's cramped, too low to comfortably get in to, and was built prior to charge port standards meaning i can only plug in with my own cable and it maxes out at 3.6kW, but it's honestly great. just a nice place to be. my wishlist for it is a battery swap (using modern cells would quadruple its electric range to about 200km), a proper compatible onboard charger, android auto support, and adaptive cruise. then i could keep it until it fell apart.
depending on the day i either want a 2024 Polestar 2 LRSM or a Citroën DS 21 Pallas. i don't have to drive much so honestly either would work.
also this week i read a review of the new toyota bz4x that mentioned that it uses radiative infrared heaters instead of resistive elements in the seats and i want to test drive it just for that.
What I drive daily- 2019 Acura RDX
What I want to drive- 2026 Acura RDX
I also have a beater 2007 toyota Tacoma for farm/utility shit.
I am a simple man and its as close to a perfect car for my needs as seems to exist.
minivan and none as I hate cars and driving. I would however not pick something over it. Its seat height is great for people with medical issues and its versatile as you can get and its as fuel efficient as you get for the size. Only thing I see with better mileage are compact cars. About the only downside is its low clearance and turn radius.
Chevy Silverado
Wish I had a Tundra
The current BMW X1 (Diesel). It's my company car and MAN I hate it, or rather the endless stream of problems with the infotainment system.
I'm currently thinking about going back to a privately owned car. The Hyundai Inster seems nice and affordable.
edit: I also own a VW T3 oldtimer, but it needs quite a bit of work to be done, especially on the lower chassis.
As someone who genuinely prefers small cars, I wish we could get vehicles like the Inster here in the US. I had a '07 Yaris and it was the bomb - airy greenhouse and more spacious inside than it had any right to be (considering its footprint). Give me that in an EV, please.
Hyundai sonata hybrid, really enjoy it. Im never going back to a nonhybrid if i can manage it. So i guess the answer to the second part is a newer hybrid
2016 Camry. Love it, zero complaints. Car I wish I had? Slightly newer model as they look super nice but holding out to see how that generation fares with reliability. Otherwise I'll drive this one til the wheels fall off.
Currently, a 2019 Hyundai Ioniq EV.
Wish I had an EV with longer range and more upright seating, something like a Volvo EX30 (if it ever comes out of beta). And a Miata.
My main vehicle is a 2008 BMW E92 328.
What i wish i drove: a better version of mine.
Mine is garbage. lol
Currently a Chevy Volt 2017. PHEV. I want a fully electric vehicle but the best current options now are Tesla and I’d prefer not to give musk any money, even if indirect through a used car purchase. So the long wait for others to catch up continues.
I drive a 2018 tesla model 3. I wish I did not drive a tesla... Some other EV that can use the supercharger network would be good.
Driving a 2013 Seat Ibiza, kinda wish I were driving an electric since they do less pollution over long term, but in the short term i dont care as long as its moves me from point a to point b.
Though If I had a limitless cash supply I'd want to drive the BMW M3 GTR, the car used in Le Mans. Yea sure, BMW is not officially selling it and it's much cheaper to convert an E46, but I'd really want to drive the actual thing.
I wish I could drive a car that I could afford. The pricing of vehicles moved to the class above me. I used to be part of the driving class but have been priced out of the game.
I have 99 Dodge Ram with a 24 valve Cummins. I love diesel, but I wish it was newer. It only has a half back seat and I have two kids. I wouldn't even mind the emission controls.
Fuel, electric
I'll also take autonomous. No, a horse with umbrella doesn't count!!
I have a volvo c30 T5 manual face lift edition as a daily driver. Its fun but not comfortable.
I wish I had a volvo s60 T5 classic with an automatic gearbox as a daily driver and the c30 could be my toy car for hard driving and track days.
I drive: KIA EV6.
What I wish for? A better KIA EV6. I love my EV6, it's a marvellous car, much more fun than the Audis, BMWs, etc. I drove before. But yet there is room for improvents.
Drive a Toyota Corolla currently and with gas prices going up I wish I was driving a Prius
Drive: Gen 2 Toyota Tacoma
Wish I drove: Toyota Hilux Champ EV
Unfortunately the Champ doesn't come as an EV, and even if it did you can't get them in the US.
More than I need anymore. None.
2019 Audi A4. Wish it was an RS7
My other ride is your mom
