I haven't known what movies to watch lately. Does everyone have their own treasure movies that they've seen many times? πŸ˜€

Primer, mostly to figure out the timelines.

One I saw 8 times when it came out is E.T. Hadn't seen it mentioned yet.

More recently I loved coming back to Lost in Translation.

Too lazy to keep scrolling but I haven’t yet seen mentions of Lilo & Stitch (the best movie Disney ever made) and Dark City (the director’s cut and if you haven’t seen it don’t spoil it, just watch it).

…and now I’m seeing a bit of a tone difference between them

The list of these films is short. To be exact, its probably only "Blow" (I think its from the year 2000). Its the story of one of the biggest cocaine smugglers in the US (his name was George Young). I can definitely recommend it.

I don't tend to rewatch films even if I liked them, but music and classic comedy keeps bringing me back.

  • Almost Famous
  • Blues Brothers
  • The Rocky Horror Picture Show
  • Grease
  • Monty Python movies (including Meaning of Life)

I've also seen some films multiple times due to having kids, but I can only think of Toy Story now.

Tenet

Watching it again might be worth it..

Buckaroo Banzai. It's the quintessential 80s movie.

Particularly if you're old enough to remember the 80's, "Hot Tub Time Machine" is the greatest comedy of the past 30 years.
