The goal isnt to stop Iran's nuclear program. It isnt to topple the regime. They want to destroy and kill, just as they did with Iraq

But it is also a sign of his desperation. The stupid fucker (and all the stupid fuckers which are part of his administration) has just realised that Iran has all the cards now. Fuel prices are rising, and will increase for as long as the war keeps going. But apart from actual invasion, which will not happen, Trump has no way of ending the war, only Iran can decide when that occurs.

And they are going to let him stew in that situation for a while.
