Someone stole my phone ( I’m from UK) I t’s already on a lost mode.
I just checked the locator app and after a few months it’s there 💀 no notification no nothing.
I can assume it’s already usable ? How did they bypass the lost and locked mode ? And what can I do about it

Unless you can go to that country you should probably not bother about it. But I am surprised it went to Pakistan, most of the posts in the past have shown stolen phones ending up in China.
It is now gonna end up in Afghanistan. This is where all the iPhones who get stolen/snatched in Pakistan ends up.

A lot of the thieves literally ride by on bikes and snatch the phones from ppls hands, in London a phone is stolen every 6 Minutes! This video goes more into it, but yes, it’s bad and look like this person just left the phone somewhere, but some thieves are really brazen.

Lock it in iCloud that’s about all you can do to protect your data. They will probably break it for parts anyway
My guess is the phone has already been picked apart and harvested for parts.
Nothing really, funny story I have tho. My dad lost his phone about 3 years ago in a trip to Houston in a hotel, oh welp he bought a new one after getting back home. 2 years later (a year ago) he gets a facebook message from a Russian guy who apparently bought his phone lool. The guy contacted my dad to ask him for his icloud password so he could factor reset the phone, my dad told to go fuck himself and blocked him

If you don't already have a new phone, you might be able to get a new one off of ur house insurance. That's what i did when it happened to me. No point reporting it to the police, they don't care. Just wipe the phone, or if you're lazy wait until they take it apart and do it for you. Nothing you can do pal sorry.
Put it in rice
You can erase your iPhone, your iCloud lock will remain active (this is different from removing your phone from iCloud which you shouldn’t do). Erasing your phone protects your data in case a workaround for the iCloud lock gets invented in the future

It’s pretty wild – I tracked my stolen iPhone all the way to China. I live in Hawaii, so I’m guessing a tourist must’ve nabbed it. I figured there was no chance I’d get my phone back, so I decided to remove it from my Find My app. Didn’t really want to be reminded of it for the rest of eternity, you know? I realize this kinda feels like I’m letting them get away with it, but I believe karma will do its thing and sort everything out in the end.
