What's the opinion/recommendations on banners? I've put up some banners onto communities but I'm finding them annoying if anything, at least for my mobile browsing, so I took most of them back down. I'm undecided about meme subs.

I see most communities don't have banners either, I guess other mods tend to come to the same conclusion?

Banners are nice! If the front end has issues with them, then hopefully using them makes that more obvious, and then the Devs prioritise it ๐Ÿ™‚

Not that there's a problem, but a banner that has enough height to show anything informative is too tall, and so on a phone you just need to scroll past every time you visit the community page. So I feel it's more harm than good.

Then banners should not be displayed on too small displays.
