Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Has anyone seen him without a hat on since the rash picture?

Perhaps his entire head is covered in blisters and the hat is to hide it.

He's trying everything he can to make it look like he isn't a balding, in continent, old bag of bones and cholesterol. He's literally falling apart and somehow almost half of America still thinks that's better than 'old, sleepy Joe' or 'warmonger Kamala'.

Like many, I think they'd be borderline useless too, but at least they wouldn't be this bad.

I'd take Biden, even in a coma, over PEDOnald at any age or health condition.

Any day of the week.

[–] voidsignal@lemmy.world 0 points 3 weeks ago

pedonald. thanks. I'll take this one

[–] atomicbocks@sh.itjust.works 2 points 3 weeks ago

Borderline useless has been pretty much the only other choice compared to Nixon, Regan, Bush, Bush, Trump, and Trump.

He wears the white hat when he thinks he's being presidential.

To him, not wearing "maga" and wearing "usa" should be taken as a grand gesture and we should all clap and celebrate how he's being bipartisan. Usually it means he's fucked up really bad and is desperate for people to like him.

It's been happening long before the neck rash.

if it was just a damn red hat it would be less disrespectful because the red hat is kind of his thing. however, disrespect is also his thing, so...

[–] joekar1990@lemmy.world 6 points 3 weeks ago

I think he's wearing a hat more because with dementia you get more sensitive to light. He's been sundowning more posting throughout the night on truth social and then falling asleep in meetings during the day. It's probably why they don't do a lot of morning events anymore. Everything is always in the afternoon.

Thought someone actually said something to him, but no it’s just an article about people’s reactions online, and on a shit website at that.

If Obama or Biden did this, the Republicans would be drafting articles of impeachment by Monday.

Eww, she’s starting to look like him

[–] W3dd1e@lemmy.zip 7 points 3 weeks ago

Omg I can’t unsee that. You’re right!

She has to be the most famous person married to a rapist pedophile fascist dictator in the world.

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 2 points 3 weeks ago

hey, how often did Duterte show up in the Trump-Epstein Files and how have his ICC hearings been going?

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 4 points 3 weeks ago

my first thought was that people and their pets start to look alike, but i'm not sure their relationship has elevated her to that status.

[–] desmosthenes@lemmy.world 2 points 3 weeks ago

“why do I gotta be here”

[–] yesman@lemmy.world 7 points 3 weeks ago (2 children)

Your life must be going pretty well if you've got the bandwidth to worry about Trump wearing a hat.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 5 points 3 weeks ago

I remember most of the 90s being filled with lots and lots of spittle-flecked rants from the right wing about how Bill Clinton was "disrespecting" the military. They also had a related conspiracy theory they kept propagating about how the military purposefully gave some cue right in front of him (dealing with salutes ) that they disrespected him, too.

I'm just imagining what that crowd would have done if Clinton wore a hat to something like this. I'm thinking they just might have given themselves aneurysms over it.

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 3 points 3 weeks ago

agreed, but

if they're going to flip out over a tan suit, which literally means "it's summer", we're going to point out a hat, which means disrespect to the dead.

[–] MnemonicBump@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 3 weeks ago

Donald Trump is a piece of shit who deserves to rot, but I'm not gonna sit here and pretend like I give a shit about respecting the military in any fashion.

[–] bradinutah@thelemmy.club 4 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Throw this onto the pile of ACTIONS the Donvict has taken to show his disregard for the military. He says a lot of things like the liar he is, but his ACTIONS show his actual disgusting character. Incompetent and dishonorable for the Office he holds and the Oath he took.

[–] ohulancutash@feddit.uk 1 points 3 weeks ago

Disregard for the military is healthy. But this isn’t it.

[–] couldhavebeenyou@lemmy.zip 1 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago) (1 children)

Half the fucking crowd is standing there with their hat on ?

[–] D_C@sh.itjust.works 2 points 3 weeks ago

I don't think military personnel take their hats off.
