Women only trans inclusive This is an inclusive community for all things women. Whether you're here for make up tips, feminism or just friendly chit chat, we've got you covered.

Rules…

  1. Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.
  2. Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
  3. Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
  4. No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.
  5. New accounts or users with few comments may have their posts removed to prevent spam and bad-faith participation.

I have two very demanding cats, and I can only imagine a fraction of the effort it takes to raise humans half as well.

I have two dogs, 30+ chickens and two pigs.

If I had to come home and help deal with kids I don't think I'd live much longer.

I put a humidifier and a dehumidifier in the same room and let them battle it out.

Then I put wax in the humidifier and now the whole room is shiny.

This is why I have neither kids nor humidifiers.

You should totally get a humidifier it's the best purchase I've made in the last 5 years

Do you live somewhere in the Midwest of the US?

Apparently cold and desert-dry winters are uncommon basically everywhere else. Siberia is probably similar, since we share a highly similar climate, but beyond that, most of the world is damp and moldy in winter. Humidifiers for the home are pretty uncommon elsewhere.

I have plants, a humidifier, and I dabble in fermentation. This is as much maternal behaviour anyone will ever get out of me.

I always refer to fermentation projects as pets

Yeah this winter the 2 year old humidifier spelled a little moldy
