I was just wondering if the back camera of the iphone 15 plus is realistic because when i take photos of myself using the back camera it makes my face look really wide?

It’s just the effect of focal length and the length of your arm

Now you know why Portraits look better with the telephoto/zoom lenses and a bit of distance than a wide angle lens and being too close to the person.
