I’ve been an iPhone user since the beginning, but I can honestly say I’ve never seen this. I’ve had my 15 PM since release day, and just looked over on my coffee table and it was doing this.

No drops, no bumps, and in an Apple silicone case. No cracks, scratches, or other screen issues.

I’ve tried power cycling, even though it’s clearly hardware.

Any idea what this is? I don’t live near an Apple Store, and the “service” at my local Best Buy has never been super helpful with broken screens in the past. I have Apple Care — any ideas on how to get this solved as quickly (and as Inexpensively) as possible?

Reach out to Apple, it’s under warranty and they can help you

I’m not joking when I say this, but I bet that screen was made in India.

Since you have AppleCare I think you can get a replacement shipped to you and then send back the original.
