I’m heavily invested in Faith’s journey now… this better be some guerrilla marketing stunt for a shitty upcoming sitcom.

If we learned nothing else from Cavemen we learned that anything can be a sitcom, you just have to believe in it hard enough.

Note we never said a good sitcom.

I'm not sure what the right way to link to these other ones is so that they show up on someone's own instance.

Wait wait, there are SIX of these letters to Faith?!

I'm not sure if she's an iconoclastic groundbreaker or a fucking nuisance but I guess I gotta read the rest to know.

[–] idiomaddict@lemmy.world 8 points 1 month ago

Based on the letters, yes.

There are more. Best way is to view OPs posts.

My god, I could understand some level of argument with regard to format innovation. But for music to be added to slides? Obscenity. Barbarism.

This suggests there is Dear Faith I - IV, where are they? I must know.

Check out OP's post history.

Check out the other posts from the same user, they're there

After reading a few of these I feel like I was either a very boring grad student, or my professors were all very chill. (Or maybe just subject to male privilege.)

A few run-ins with IT, but I don't think I ever got nasty letters from professors...

[–] NeatNit@discuss.tchncs.de 8 points 4 weeks ago

I've long since decided that these are probably fake, but that doesn't make them any less entertaining. Keep them coming!

We had been suspicious in the previous letters but the em-dashes in this one pretty much confirm it

[–] Fmstrat@lemmy.world 2 points 3 weeks ago

Em-dashes aren't really an indicator as much anymore, especially with Humanizer skills on. Also, em-dashes were very popular with literary authors and professors for many, many years before AI.

Fiction, but maybe not AI. Or maybe.

That Faith. Getting ready to set the world on fire with advisers who were not prepared.

This communique says nothing about Edward 40 hands so I assume that is on the menu for the evening

[–] JokeDeity@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 month ago

Holy shit I thought the other one I saw was bad. These people can't even see it's so dark where they are, deep deep in their own assholes.
