On 28 February 2026, Iranian authorities claimed that a girls' elementary school in Minab, Iran was hit by a missile during the first day of the Israeli–United States strikes on Iran.[1] The Judiciary of Minab reported that 85 people were killed, primarily young girls, and another 93 wounded.[2]
