Hey everyone, I just my new iPhone 15 pro last night and got everything transferred from my 11pro overnight. This morning I was prompted to transfer my sim and I keep getting this. I bought this phone through apple as a replacement for my 11, certified my phone number and everything. I plan on going to Verizon when it opens in a couple of hours, but can anyone figure out what could be going on? Thanks!

Thank you everyone for all of your replies! I was able to do it by manually entering the IMEI code into the Verizon app. But what a pain!

Call Verizon, just went through this and there was an issue with the shared number to the watch.

Think many carriers around the world have stopped doing online esim transfer due to the rising security risk from fraudsters. Where they find ways to access your carrier acc and initiate the transfer, then trick users into providing their OTP required for the transfer. Once the phone number is hijacked they can basically reset your banking info/emails etc.

Carrier not supporting the feature properly or the new phone is locked to a carrier that your eSIM is not from. I’m guessing you didn’t buy a phone from a carrier you don’t have so more likely the first. Just use the carrier’s mobile app, website, or customer care to transfer your eSIM.
