A place to meme about the glorious ROMAN EMPIRE (and Roman Republic, and Roman Kingdom)! Byzantines tolerated! The HRE is not.

I don't remember thinking Sid Meier's Civilization had cutting edge graphics at the time. It was a fantastic game for other reasons. Defender of the Crown on Amiga on the other hand, I was blown away by the graphics of that one.
