The overall size has gone up proportionally tho, and no touch for drawing stuff

I have a 16 and a 13 inch macbook. I find the 13 inch to be more convenient when traveling (I do landscape & wildlife photography). The 16 inch is nice to use when at home on the couch or not at a desk.

This could be one of the most braindead posts I have ever seen

That’s some patina right there on that surface keyboard

[–] Only1Schematic@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The border around that Surface display is thick as hell lol

Did you know that 10 inches is smaller than 15 inches?

I had a clothy Surface laptop for work. Hated that thing. That is all.

I had a surface pro to. Shattered the screen completely because the keyboard came off and the screen hit the tile screen first…glad I upgraded to a MacBook haha.

I aleays wondered how this cloth material will wear out after years of use. Now I know. It looks like a homeless person.

Of course an apple person would buy a whole new device over N easily fixable problem

[–] rootster1@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Which is reinstalling windows which Microsoft has made it very user friendly (and free ofc if it has product key stored in bios or smth (Microsoft computer so 100%))

Another great thing about the MacBook Air, is it’ll never end up look as gross as that Surface does.

[–] rootster1@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Not as portable as that surface tablet which was designed for on the go use without sitting down (can do with air but not 100% practical as it's best to sit down on a bench or smth)

How's this funny, the Surface is effectively an iPad in size, no one else wants it in the MacBook Airs size.

[–] rootster1@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Wow I would totally enjoy having a 10" MacBook

I totally think 11" macbooks were too big and the 10" is perfect

[–] Nawnp@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

A 10-11 inch MacBook would certainly be more popular than a 15 inch iPad, the thing is I don't see them ever doing a sub $1k MacBook again, so I guess it'd be only $100 less than the 13 inch MacBook Air, if they ever brought one back.

That Surface is NOT bricked. Needs a new ssd and fresh OS install.

Other than that, yeah bigger laptops are usually bigger.

[–] rootster1@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Could be just an os reinstall

Did he say the SSD is broken or is everyone just assuming that?

[–] ohhh-a-number-9@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

True, and about the ssd, most of the time there's an older ssd inside that's well worth upgrading because it will give a more reliable and faster ssd in return.
