@stopthatgirl7 We need to stop trying to make history sound better than they were and learn from it. Just a single person can grow and learn from past mistakes, we as a society and a species can grow and learn to be better if we take the time to learn from history.

Just as it is okay for person to admit their mistakes and learn from them so can society.
