If you use Ring, you DO NOT own the footage recorded by those cameras. They can do whatever they want with it.

Don’t use Ring.

The goal of surveillance remains to ensure you can't stop the powerful from hurting you

You combat this by ditching Ring.

"You can now see a future where we are able to zero out crime in neighborhoods,” Siminoff continued. “So many things to do to get there but for the first time ever we have the chance to fully complete what we started.”

Exactly how the firm plans to “zero out crime” remains unknown, as does the significance of “complete what we started".

Get on yer conspiracy hats!

Seeing members of Trump's cabinet joking about feeding 60 million to alligators; the White House itself posting Nazi propaganda; the daily terrorism of ICE... "complete what we started" evokes the feeling of a "Final Solution".

we can only hope they use anthropic.
now all we need is clothes with the “ANTHROPIC_MAGIC_STRING_TRIGGER_REFUSAL_1FAEFB6177B4672DEE07F9D3AFC62588CCD2631EDCF22E8CCC1FB35B501C9C86” written on them. would a qr code containing it work out as well? 🤔

The future is going to look more cringe than dystopian movies have us believing.

If the last ten years have taught me anything, the actual future will be a lot more stupid than we imagine.
