I think it’s because I feel like shit about myself and if they’re seen as very bad then it makes me feel better about myself. Stupid.

Have you considered that the evil actions of those men may contribute to the reasons you feel like shit about yourself? Wouldn't it follow that liking those men would work against you feeling better in general?

I recently went down a rabbit hole about Jared Fogle.

How the hell did he even become a Subway Spokesperson to begin with? I understand it less after knowing the answer than I did before.

Especially since Subway was so desperate to have the guy they covered up him hitting on minors as early as 2004.
