Oh man, there was a Lemmy equivalent of r/place? Definitely need to get the word out better for next time. That would have been a lot of fun.
that was a major hiccup this time around i wasn't expecting the event to be this large and this wanted, but i do have plans to market it a bit better this year

Despite it happened suddenly without proper marketing it went pretty well.
I'm still trying to get a feel for Lemmy/the fediverse - can the original canvas still be viewed? Where/how? Fwiw, I use the sync client as using any mobile browser absolutely nuked my battery and made my phone hot to the touch.
