Women only trans inclusive This is an inclusive community for all things women. Whether you're here for make up tips, feminism or just friendly chit chat, we've got you covered.

Rules…

  1. Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.
  2. Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
  3. Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
  4. No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.
  5. New accounts or users with few comments may have their posts removed to prevent spam and bad-faith participation.

excuse the botched blur job (I used GIMP, I'm pretty terrible at using the foreground select tool, tips would be appreciated)

I wore this outfit for a day of ice skating it was super fun - wdyt tho?

EDIT: I meant to capture that the skirt has texture and is pretty cute:

Nice! Monochrome with a texture contrast is cool. A belt or waistband might work well with it too.

i think a nice under bust corset or wide belt with silver worn on the first seam of the skirt would add a nice visual. it might elongate the lower portion of the outfit giving you a longer look. also, silver bangles or chains on the wrist (outside of sleeve). black beaded necklace with silver or even a rosary. also boot chains are always fun.

love the idea of a corset; I think a wide belt would look nice but may have been a liability while ice skating (I ended up crashing 4 times and really badly bruising my legs, lol).

Great idea on bangles - I'm so insecure about my wrists and hands I tend to avoid anything that draws attention to them.

Love the black bead necklace / rosary idea - thank you!

Asked the daughter and missus. Its a good basic outfit, a solid 6/10.

Gonna quote the daughter here : "if you are a babybat (= somebody starting goth outfits ) you have a good start and youll get there".
Maybe add a bit that jumps out if you want to ( add a bit of silver or gold )

omg i love that term, babybat - that's awesome

I tend to wear big silver hoops with it.

I'm not technically goth or anything, but I definitely wear a lot of black - so maybe I should consider that, lol

Daughter said alternative fashion might be a good thing then. Its not goth, or whatever, but its a recommendation apparently since it has a lot of black in it.
I have no sense of fashion, but the daughter does haha

I'm basically wearing the same outfit, but with a longer skirt. So yeah, pretty good!

Nice! I really like the monochrome look these days. Bonus points for the outfit looking comfy.

yesss, I love the top because it's so soft and comfy. Cute + comfy is a good combo 😁

I also went dancing in a similar outfit (different shoes tho).
