Just noticed Sextans is seemingly battling Darture on this map, probably in the ruins of an Unitas-Paradeus sanctuary.

While Deep Oblivion is still somewhat fresh, Darture last appeared aboard former Girard Group CEO Rurik Girard's aircraft flying out of Odesa, wacking Rurik and directing the plane into the sea before departing with Groza Black.
While the reset Sextans remains isolated aboard the Elmo, Darture left the picture after the destruction of Girard's subterranean neural cloud servers and Rurik's assassination, cutting Girard out of the picture in favor of Cecht FABN dominance in the Orlog Conglomerate.
Seeking his place as elected Chairman of the Odesa Oblast Parliament and FABN's representative to the Orlog Conglomerate, the underlying plot of Deep Oblivion was Zimmerman's masterstroke. Collaborating with the Girard-seconded 3rd-Gens Cocoon and Darture, ...
...not did Zimmerman sever Girard's control over their products via Darture's feint in the underground laboratory, the fallout of the rogue Doll incident fell entirely on Girard Group, thus enabling FABN to claim authority over the former's 3rd-Generation products.
Prior to GFL2, as part of a corporate technology-sharing deal between Orlog consortia Girard and FABN, the former seconded Cocoon and Blusphere to the latter, and when the time came to apparently cut Girard out of the picture, perhaps for their intractability or exposure, ...
...Zimmerman and Cocoon were the ones at the core of this espionage. With Darture and Groza Black as their executors, the loss of the Neural Cloud server shackling the 3rd-Gens, the rogue Doll incident, and faulty vaccine production were slam dunks against the Girard executives.
In other words, FABN handed an indictment against Girard on a silver platter to NOMFA Councilor Kalina and Director Kryuger, but at the expense of Zimmerman's ascension to power and FABN devouring much of Girard's market share should the Group be dissolved after facing trial.
Nevertheless, even when their strong case was a byproduct of corporate espionage, NOMFA now holds all the cards against the Girard Group. Resignations and reshufflings will follow, saying nothing of the "accidental" death of former CEO Rurik Girard.
For the time being, having traded one interest immediately for another, Odesa has fallen quiet. All eyes across Eastern Europe now shift their attention to Girard's modern headquarters in Lviv, where URNC Central representatives will soon determine its future.
Who will cut a deal, who will stand trial, and who will never live to see one? What doors were never meant to be opened, and who - or rather, what - will be burned to protect those secrets?
