She was AG of Florida when Epstein's stuff first started getting exposed

She also dropped an investigation into Trump University after she received a $25k "donation"

She's been covering for pedos and Trump for years already

What a cheap ho

[–] jve@lemmy.world 5 points 4 hours ago

pedos and Trump

But you repeat yourself

[–] MrMetaKopos@slrpnk.net 12 points 13 hours ago (3 children)

Serious question. I was under the impression that all the people trafficked were girls. But there's a man raising his hand. Did Epstein also traffick boys? If so, I did not know that.

[–] Apytele@sh.itjust.works 23 points 11 hours ago

I suspect it's a more niche flavor but I'd be more surprised if they didn't.

This man is Virginia Giuffre's brother

[–] sommerset@thelemmy.club 5 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

She offed herself right? Was that real suicide or.....?

[–] Hadriscus@jlai.lu 6 points 4 hours ago (1 children)
[–] sommerset@thelemmy.club 5 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

As a parent myself - there is no way a mom of 3 offs herself.

[–] Hadriscus@jlai.lu 6 points 3 hours ago

it happens. But I am dubious

[–] alekwithak@lemmy.world 12 points 12 hours ago* (last edited 12 hours ago) (1 children)

Yes, they trafficked, imprisoned, tortured, raped, farmed, performed rituals with, and ate, both girls and boys. I hesitantly suggest looking into the male victim Sacha Riley's accounts and the released documents yourself because no one benefits from disseminating the information to you. There's a reason the zeitgeist is only focused on certain aspects of the released files. I am a long long time conspiracy theorist and while some of the content has been incredibly ...validating, knowing that at no point was I ever crazy, it has also been massively traumatizing, and I suspect they were released in such a way to impose secondary traumatic stress on the public. All a part of their grooming of society, also heavily outlined in the released documents. Tread lightly, I have been having nightmares every night since I've been reading these.

[–] Colalextrast@lemmy.world 4 points 7 hours ago (3 children)

Holdup. Ate? As in cannibalism? That hasn't been in the news. What document was that in?

[–] alekwithak@lemmy.world 4 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

There's at least one document that outright says it, but they have since removed it (shocking!) it was in batch 11:

You also got a couple of replies with key words to look for. Once you see those in context it's undeniable.

[–] ICastFist@programming.dev 3 points 2 hours ago

What the fucking fuck, how is that not being asked around by media?

[–] paperazzi@lemmy.world 2 points 6 hours ago

Also look for beef jerky.

[–] OrteilGenou@lemmy.world 1 points 6 hours ago

Look for cream cheese. Or don't.

[–] hector@lemmy.today 7 points 12 hours ago (1 children)

So I see a dude with his hand raised, this answers my question as to if they had underaged boys that were abused as well. I am sure they did, what with Thiel and Mandelson and I'm sure plenty of others that were into underage boys. I just hadn't seen any reference to it yet.

But they are keeping the details of whom did what secret, not just the with what victim, the only part that should be redacted. They said themselves they aren't investigating anyone involved so they've no cause to redact to protect investigations.

Someone needs to sue to force an independant monitor, and congress needs to start to vote on a new law that would give all the information to a trusted third party to make the redactions to protect witnesses.

Or some patriot can just leak the files to multiple news organizations across the west, and let them do the redactions. A process that works.

[–] Hadriscus@jlai.lu 11 points 12 hours ago* (last edited 12 hours ago) (1 children)

Someone else asked this question ITT, the man is the late Virginia Giuffre's brother

Whether they trafficked boys I don't know, it doesn't seem too unlikely but so far haven't heard any account

[–] hector@lemmy.today 3 points 11 hours ago

Ah thanks for the information. I'm convinced Guiffre was murdered, that it was a staged car accident, probably some kind of new age hack into the controls of one or both vehicles. Something proven possible in a 60 minutes episode from a couple years back or so, where they had a hacker take control of a car they were driving in a parking lot, and had the car doing it's own thing and disregarding the driver.

Not a bug, a feature, I think they want those vulnerabilities in there for just this reason. Sounds paranoid, but given all the whistleblowers having suicides, I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss my own suspicions here.

[–] U7826391786239@lemmy.zip 191 points 22 hours ago (6 children)

what happened to all the "we have to protect the children" rhetoric?

tl;dr: they never gave a flying fuck about your children

[–] thisbenzingring@lemmy.today 76 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

But oh boy, do they wanna fuck your children!

[–] agamemnonymous@sh.itjust.works 9 points 17 hours ago

And they will fly on a plane to do it

[–] inclementimmigrant@lemmy.world 49 points 21 hours ago* (last edited 21 hours ago) (2 children)

Well many Republicans seemed to give a lot of flying fucks with children apparently.

[–] OrteilGenou@lemmy.world 3 points 6 hours ago

They didn't have the core strength for flying fucks

[–] DarkFuture@lemmy.world 21 points 20 hours ago (1 children)

As in they're fucking children in their private jets while they're flying through the sky.

[–] DrSteveBrule@mander.xyz 38 points 20 hours ago (1 children)

I just watched a Walter Masterson video in which he goes to a trump rally and asks people if they are pro life. When they say they are, he then asks them to go the next step and help raise funds for food and housing for children to which they all tell him to fuck off. You're right.

[–] orbitz@lemmy.ca 15 points 20 hours ago

Heh like that's the logical next step, if they were all in they'd say yes to helping out, being followers of the Bible and all. Mean $5 helps a cause even, but just to say fuck off...heaven forbid you back up ideals with even a pittance.... These kids would be better if people gave a sliver of a pittance even.

I forget the spot in the Bible that says if the kids weren't yours you didn't have to care about them as people.

We're all people afterall, some different cultures, different ideas, but we still gotta live on this rock together. Telling people they don't matter isn't the solution. We'll either figure it out or nuke ourselves one day I assume.

[–] SaharaMaleikuhm@feddit.org 3 points 13 hours ago

That is what we in the biz call that virtue-signalling.

[–] FishFace@piefed.social 9 points 19 hours ago

Because "protect the children" is about vibes. It had good vibes.

Unfortunately, good vibes can be overridden by pretty much anything, like money.

In my opinion that makes it very important to not talk about stuff based on vibes but based on real stuff.

[–] BigMacHole@sopuli.xyz 9 points 20 hours ago

We have to ~~PROTECT~~ FUCK the Children!

-LITERALLY Republicans!

[–] motruck@lemmy.zip 9 points 14 hours ago

ICE Barbie is one of them. I expect nothing less. Also shame on Guttermen for calling out "Democrats" for name calling. The judgement of a hypocrite is worthless it only means the name struck a nerve so use it everywhere.

[–] SethTaylor@lemmy.world 2 points 11 hours ago* (last edited 11 hours ago)

I know, right? I always thought she was on Desperate Housewives

I mean, the nerve in that hearing!

[–] DarkFuture@lemmy.world 35 points 20 hours ago (2 children)

Look at those survivors stare this traitorous cunt down.

Bondi isn't public enemy #1, but she's real close.

[–] hector@lemmy.today 1 points 1 hour ago

Bondi and Noem I would argue are public enemy number 1. Both are the faces of what is meant to fix elections, to betray the constitution and laws of the US, and to go full nazi.

Whether they are able to go full nazi or not, they are planning on it. They know what they are doing, they know they are lying, they know they are betraying the country, their people, decency.

Literally they want to do a final solution for half the population here. With the democrats being so weak and sold out there is nothing to stop them either, even though they are ham handed.

[–] chiliedogg@lemmy.world 31 points 20 hours ago (3 children)

She's also young.

Trump is a walking corpse. He'll never have to face justice. But Bondi will probably be around long enough to be a target when the reckoning comes.

[–] Corkyskog@sh.itjust.works 11 points 19 hours ago

She is so dumb she might get fed to the wolves before Trump is even gone.

[–] EtherWhack@lemmy.world 6 points 17 hours ago

I guess, if you count 60 as young, in politics

[–] plyth@feddit.org 1 points 14 hours ago* (last edited 14 hours ago)

when the reckoning comes.

15. Jan. 2025 President Joe Biden 's announcements effectively roll back many of the sanctions put in place [on Cuba] by President-elect Trump

The date, think about it.

[–] Zephorah@discuss.online 21 points 19 hours ago (2 children)

Of note. 2024 was the year of whistleblower assassinations. Epstein was assassinated. Who is left? The women. Why? Because they know the weight of belief on a victimized woman is so much less it’s never going to be a threat.

[–] teslekova@sh.itjust.works 5 points 12 hours ago

Giuffre did get killed. It seems someone was a little more worried than everyone else. I wonder who?

[–] hector@lemmy.today 1 points 12 hours ago

They fear the victims releasing information. We need to form groups to support victims that want justice, to be their investigative arms, to help dig up information on their perpetrators and bring them to justice. Because news organizations can only do so much, are owned by those same rich that are the abusers, and have lots of other things going on. We won't have the compulsory investigative powers, but we could still do a lot.

The justice department is covering for the perpetrators not investigating for the victims. If we organized anonymously to investigate, then publicize and whatever else, the details of the crimes of these rapists, we could help get justice, and it would be good practice. We can't rely on the authorities for justice.

[–] thisbenzingring@lemmy.today 55 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

sure it was a political gotcha but if Bondi had any situational awareness, all she would have had to do to Win that moment was apologize for the lack of communication and volunteer a staff member to contact. BUT she couldn't and she chose to lash out. What a pathetic example of US Justice personnel.

[–] Test_Tickles@lemmy.world 14 points 21 hours ago

But she did Win that moment. You are assuming that she cares about anything other than winning the approval of the people whom she thinks has the most power relevant to her.
The problem most people have when dealing with actual psychopaths is that they keep treating them like they have some sort of human emotion for others.
The part that she is playing in this bit of theater makes Trump, his handlers, and the hare filled people who voted for him, feel powerful. They get to be part of victimizing these people all over. I am sure that they are all thrilled. So, she did win.

[–] ummthatguy@lemmy.world 45 points 23 hours ago (1 children)

Those deadly stares. Entirely warranted.

[–] ceenote@lemmy.world 12 points 21 hours ago

If I had the patience to put up with sitting through her stream of clumsy, shameless deflections, I'd watch the whole thing to see if she looks at them even once.

[–] roserose56@lemmy.zip 1 points 11 hours ago* (last edited 11 hours ago)
[–] D_C@sh.itjust.works 3 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

Serious question. What can the average person do about this tainted blonde piece of shit? Is she untouchable...?

[–] pelespirit@sh.itjust.works 2 points 2 hours ago

Call/write your representative to impeach her? I've heard before that calling/writing does work, but calling is better.

[–] Lemminary@lemmy.world 11 points 20 hours ago* (last edited 20 hours ago)

Still rummaging through those fucking papers.

God, I want to kick her right in that smug fucking face.
