I'm starting to think this Trump guy might have done a crime.

[–] bamboo@lemmy.blahaj.zone 64 points 1 day ago (4 children)

You know with Trump, the more i read about that guy, the less i like him

[–] Corkyskog@sh.itjust.works 22 points 1 day ago

Makes sense why MAGA likes him then!

[–] OwOarchist@pawb.social 15 points 1 day ago

Remains true, even when I've read a depressingly enormous amount of information about him.

[–] SirSamuel@lemmy.world 3 points 22 hours ago

He's kind of a jerk

[–] Triumph@fedia.io 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

This is how we find out how low numbers go.

[–] sp3ctr4l@lemmy.dbzer0.com 6 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Well we actually don't, because Trump pressured Gallup into no longer doing Presidential favoribility polling.

[–] Triumph@fedia.io 2 points 22 hours ago

I was thinking about the value of "the less I like him".

[–] mushroommunk@lemmy.today 20 points 1 day ago (1 children)

You mean the convicted felon has done a crime? I'm shocked. Well not that shocked.

[–] Thorry@feddit.org 8 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Sure he's done one crime, but what about second crime?

Not to mention elevensies!

Excerpt :
"The file in question is an unverified tip submitted to the FBI in 2020 from a limousine driver who claimed to have driven Trump in the 1990s, and recalled Trump making “very concerning” comments about “abusing some girl,” while also "continuously" stating the name “Jeffrey.”

The tip also included unverified allegations that Trump and Epstein had raped a young girl who was later found with her head “blown off,” details of which were later partially corroborated by local news outlets."
Edit :
https://www.justice.gov/age-verify?destination=%2Fepstein%2Ffiles%2FDataSet+8%2FEFTA00020517.pdf

the file would be : EFTA00020517.pdf

This is familiar, I'm almost positive this already came up in the news "recently" as in the last year maybe 2. Interesting to see it actually in the files. I don't remember if it was the limo driver who came forward or what but I know I've read about this. The driver said something about wanting to stop the limo and beat his ass.

[–] LillyPip@lemmy.ca 56 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

This came up years ago. Like before his first election. Lots of things like this came up, and we’ve known he’s a paedophile, rapist, murderer for at least a decade, but stupid amounts of money were spent to cover this shit up, with many people buying the massive PR campaign.

The Steele dossier was true. He didn’t ‘fail’ in business at his casinos – they were a front for the Russian mafia. He was named in a criminal indictment along with Epstein for raping a 13 year old that was only dropped because the witness was harassed with death threats and followed by trump goons in the parking lot from court proceedings, threatening to kill her and her family.

All of this has been known for a decade. He’s an abhorrent barely human being. Fucking despicable.

[–] Wytch@lemmy.zip 15 points 1 day ago

I didn't know I could hate someone I never met with such vitriol. I feel like we as a people are pulling a Wily Coyote/Looney Tunes move where the ground has fallen out from under us and we're not aware of it, so gravity has not yet asserted itself.

[–] OwOarchist@pawb.social 37 points 1 day ago (1 children)

The driver said something about wanting to stop the limo and beat his ass.

Just think about what the world might be like right now if that had happened...

[–] LillyPip@lemmy.ca 6 points 23 hours ago* (last edited 23 hours ago)

No difference. That driver would have been sued for assault, and his testimony buried because trump had enough money to squash it. Same as all the girls who tried going to the authorities over this shit.

[–] AmidFuror@fedia.io 7 points 1 day ago

I think I read about it in the last month. Someone before Ted Lieu pointed out this aspect of the files.

[–] Soup@lemmy.world 12 points 1 day ago

“This is nothing, you can’t even trust this random limosine driver” - The people who latched onto the cats and dogs lie, and the people who told it, even after Vance explicitly said it was made up.

[–] sp3ctr4l@lemmy.dbzer0.com 6 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

Oh this?

This isn't even from the latest drop, this is old news, this was in an earlier release.

[–] cobysev@lemmy.world 67 points 1 day ago (4 children)

I saw this article with a giant photo of Trump's face and the line, "Later found dead" and I got my hopes up for a moment.

[–] floofloof@lemmy.ca 16 points 1 day ago

Well, one day he will be.

[–] wonderingwanderer@sopuli.xyz 4 points 20 hours ago

People like him make me wish hell was real, because a quick and painless death is too good for him, but the sooner he croaks the better. Except we'd still have to deal with Vance, and the electoral backlash might not be as strong if he drops the baggage

[–] calamitycastle@lemmy.world 8 points 1 day ago (2 children)

I want to stress that trump dying isn't going to magically bring an end to what's currently being done in the US. If he dies in office you have Vance, right?

[–] RaoulDuke25@lemmy.dbzer0.com 9 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Well, it's a step in the right direction. Vance is a shit eater.

[–] III@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Is it though? Trump is too senile and egotistical to take orders. At the very least right now they have to trick him into compliance and put up with when his ramblings cause issue. Vance will do exactly what he is told without any question or hesitation.

[–] RaoulDuke25@lemmy.dbzer0.com 12 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Trump has a large base willing to kill and die for him. Vance fucks couches.

[–] Delilah@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 20 hours ago

And trump rapes children.

[–] CorrectAlias@piefed.blahaj.zone 4 points 20 hours ago

The point isn't that it'd fix all of the US's problems. It would certainly fix one, though.

[–] drzoidberg@lemmy.world 9 points 1 day ago

Me too. I was about to bust out some good wine to celebrate instead of the ok wine for Valentine's Day.

[–] fiat_lux@lemmy.world 18 points 1 day ago

For anyone who doesn't want to click through to rawstory and then Twitter (why does Lieu still use this?), the document in question is EFTA00020517 (redacted version). Trigger warning for both rape and murder although it does not go into significantly more detail than the rawstory link. I think this document was from the batch at least a month ago though.

It also claims that the coroner ruled the death a suicide even though officers on the scene said there was no way it could have been.

[–] dizzle18@lemmy.zip 22 points 1 day ago

Yep, I’m completely convinced. I absolutely guarantee at this point that Trump had multiple girls killed - either by his own hand, or by someone taking orders from him. He’s panicking, not just because of the pedophilia, but because of even worse shit that has yet to come to light.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 23 points 1 day ago

Blondi is gonna need a bigger burn book to bring to her next Adult Mean Girl act.

Also, did this happen anywhere near Fifth Avenue?

[–] UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world 15 points 1 day ago (1 children)

explosive allegations

Soft farting sound

Oh well, anyway, GOP is trying to overhaul the nation's voting laws again and the Dems haven't stopped them. But this is exciting news, too

[–] lIlIlIlIlIlIl@lemmy.world 0 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Do the Dems have the votes to stop them on their own?

[–] snooggums@piefed.world 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

They can filibuster, so yes.

[–] lIlIlIlIlIlIl@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

Do they have the votes to block?

[–] SnarkoPolo@lemmy.world 0 points 23 hours ago

BIGLY SPOILER ALERT!
